History of Guns

Starting in the 9th century, gun powder had been invented and then firearms in the 12th century in China. Throughout time, these firearms have been improved and changed to be more destructive to the militaries.

The ancestors of firearm was first called the fire lance which was gunpowder filled in a tube that was attached to the end of a spear and used as a flame thrower. This was back in the day when people didn't have the type of technology to make advanced weapons like today. This first started in China. Firearms also started in the 14th century with the Arabs used for war. As we go down the line of history, there were also firearms in the west. and it had made thier way there through the silk road.

"Since the introduction of the flintlock musket in the 17th century, military small arms have gone through a series of significant changes"
The first puckle musket gun was invented in 1718, by James Puckle of London, England. "Puckle Gun," a tripod-mounted, single-barreled flintlock gun fitted with a multishot revolving cylinder. Ever since there, there have many changes to the musket gun and many more made throughout time.

From there, guns have improved over time through gunpowder and as time passed, technology had advanced which gave the upper hand to improve the guns that we have today and will continue to keeep improving simply to keep funding and helping the military. Every year, millions of dollars are funded to the miliatary.
