Guns of New York

Written in the news are complaints and concerns on how dangerous guns of New York can be . Apparently quoted there were 500,000 illegal handguns flooded around New York City. Bloomberg believes it is not the gun holder's fault but the gun itself because they even have it in the first place so they are tempted which I personally think is very stupid and obscured. There was also a recent lawsuit about all of this. Guns make it a very dangerous living enviroment because nobody is safe because anyone can get hurt any minute and it can be the most innocent person alive which had done no harm to anyone. Therefore guns should only be used to those who are liscensed and those who are capable of handling a gun without using it for the wrong reasons. That is impossible because of the society we live in today. Everyone holds grudges, and is filled with hate and greed againest one another that some feel that there is a need to get even or revenge. Guns are a tool of violence, they serve a high threat. They are one of the most effective weapons around. If we elimnated guns, we would see less people dying but somehow people feel that there is a need for guns to be around because it serves as a protection for some people. Most guns are as well used in war, and they're mainly for battling and killing. In the article, it stated that they wanted to offer a solution to all this drama  by saying "So I will offer here a modest solution to the problem of a half-million illegal handguns in New York. And I stole it right out of George W. Bush's playbook. We'll offer a "path to legalization" for these weapons. (Please don't call it "amnesty.") Those who own these guns will be asked to simply register them. After standing in line, filling out forms, paying some fines, and solemnly agreeing to attend gun-safety classes, these gun-owners will be henceforth "legalized," with full conceal-carry permits, and all the rights, privileges and responsibilities accorded thereto. These new legal gun-owners will now become proud responsible citizens, give up their old ways, pay their taxes, and even assist the police in defending the innocent and apprehending real criminals – those who aggress against persons and property.". With a solution like this, they believe they can change around the rules, and hopefully lower down the death rates by guns.
